Why AI for Music Videos/Visualizers?
Music videos are costly and less common today, with consumers engaging through short-form content on social medias. As a result, simple lyric videos and static visualizers have become the go-to, but AI can take them further.
AI won’t replace traditional music videos (although it could generate stunning visuals—like landscapes, abstract scenes, and general shots for them); AI can create video in any style, fast and affordably. This enhances viewer retention, which is key: narrative-driven AI visuals outperform static visualizers in engagement.
For example (adjacent image), my channel at the time with just 1,000 subscribers hit 1 million views on a Jelly Roll track thanks to AI-generated visuals that boosted retention. Even small channels see better performance with AI-created content compared to standard lyric videos on bigger/original channels.
AI allows music videos to be created quickly (in less than a day in many cases), at low cost, and in any style—whether it's a narrative, abstract, or a mix of live performance included. But now? I’m taking things to the next level—creating AI-generated music visualizers that fill a major gap in the music video space. These videos aren’t just fast and cost-effective to produce—they’re designed to keep viewers engaged, delivering high-retention visuals that go beyond basic lyric videos. With AI, artists can now have a unique, narrative-driven video for every track, not just a select few.
